notes on release 2.0.0-0538a

This is the alpha1 release of 2.0.0. Some things to keep in mind:

1. Tags are fully implemented, but LEnts have not been reimplemented.
2. The conversion utility for data migration from 1.7 to 2.0.0 has not yet been written.
3. There is no release content (Cabinet CompStrm).

All of these issues will be addressed in the beta release.
