The ups and downs of the day

This is a national holiday in India, Lord Ganish's birthday. So I had the chance to get a lot done on the Ark.

Came down with a cold, had a miserable night.

Still I got the snap and snap cabinet utilities completed and fixed the bugs that I had reported. A bit more cleanup is left on the Unix scripts and then I'm ready to release. Perhaps tomorrow.

With snap you will see a substantial reduction in file sizes and in the time needed to do a restore. I am very happy with the result and looking forward to applying it to www.compstrm.org and also to the Arks at work.
