journal thoughts

I still want to refactor the code so it is easier to process a consolidated journal--i.e. a journal which shows new and destroyed references from other well knowns, as well as changes to the group structure for which the well known is the root.

Another thought is that I should tie all the operations/transactions from the same command and show it only once using the timestamp of the last operation.
