A programmer for 35 years, a research engineer now for 11 years and an Open Source Project Manager since 1998, I have had the privilege of working for the Open Software Foundation (OSF) Research Institute (now The Open Group), serving on a US Presidential commission to evaluate risk factors for the US banking community, a DARPA Principal on an SBIR grant and as Director of Engineering at Fiorano.
